Water sector with Kisense

The project with SimDouro is our first Kisense project in the water sector, an industry that has enormous potential to apply our energy efficiency solutions.
With a maximum execution period of 6 months, the established contract assures the implementation of an energy management system at the main infrastructures of SimDouro. Kisense will help this company's Energy Management Team to monitor energy consumption at 6 locations, a WWTP and 5 Lift Stations.
SimDouro collects, treats and does the final disposal of urban wastewater from about 519 thousand equivalent inhabitants. It covers an area of 1300 km², corresponding to the totality of the municipalities of Arouca, Baião, Castelo de Paiva, Cinfães, Paredes, Vila Nova de Gaia and a part of the municipality of Penafiel (Sousa river basin).
For VPS this project will be a reference in the water sector. We want SimDouro to extend the investment to its remaining infrastructure (47 in total) and we also want to replicate this project in other companies of this sector.
