VPS experience debated at Order of Engineers

In 2018 the Order of Engineers promotes a series of lectures that aim to present some modern concepts related to energy technologies. Our Co-Founder, Basílio Simões, was the guest of the first edition, which took place last January 25th, at the Order’s headquarters.

Under the theme "Energy Management and Exchange Systems" we presented the technological tools and use cases resulting from our experience, which support the implementation of the ISO 50001 standard, contribute to network balancing and enable smart utilities to create communities of energy exchange (Energy Internet).

In addition to the concepts, Basílio Simões explained how Virtual Power Solutions is at the forefront of the European energy markets, which increasingly give priority to renewable and distributed production, as well as solutions for automatic demand management as a way to ensure greater security of supply and cost reduction - the so-called Energy Transition.
