VPS joins Galp Energia to promote energy efficiency in SMEs

Virtual Power Solutions and Galp Energia started 2016 by launching an ADR joint programme for energy efficiency entitled Galp Energy Manager. It aims to equip all Portuguese industrial SMEs with monitoring, management and device remote control tools to optimise their electricity consumption and reduce their energy costs. Companies have already started submitting their applications.

This program utilises VPS proprietary technology, Kisense - an active demand management integrated software - that allows you to see the data collected and remotely control the equipment, enhancing the energy consumption reduction and associated costs.

Developed under the Plan for Promoting of Electricity Consumption Efficiency, an initiative promoted by the Regulatory Body for Energy Services, Galp Energy Manager guarantees a systematic monitoring of energy consumption, allowing its reduction by identifying abnormal situations and prompting further action on them.
