Kisense enters in the Hotel Industry

The hotel industry is a sector where saving energy has become increasingly important and where savings can be substantial - adopting energy efficiency measures and promoting the quality of service creates a more efficient behaviour, as well as generating more profit.

The Turistrela group, with their two 4-star Hotel units, was the first project Virtual Power Solutions developed for this sector. The success achieved in this initial project gave confidence to the Pestana Hotels group to move forwards and rely on our company to improve energy efficiency in 23 of their units.

Virtual Power Solutions provides not only an energy consumption monitoring and management software, Kisense, but also designates an Energy Manager for each project, which follows the entire process and helps all elements of the organisation to be more energy efficient.
